This was a decent show that established Savage as the face off the company...and that's about it, But I will show you how it can be better.

Rebooking:

Wrestle Mania IV:
Well this show is going to have 16 matches and a Free for All match (to use the concept for the first time, by having the battle royal air on live TV 30 minutes before the event goes live).
I am still going to do the tournament as it is more challenging to make it better.

Free For All - Thirty Man Battle Royal for a Tournament Spot
Bret Hart wins by last eliminating Bad News Brown. The final 4 are Hart & Brown & Greg Valentine & Butch Reed. All three heels take out Hart who goes under the second rope without their notice. The three fight and Brown is the one standing tall. Then Hart comes from behind attacks him to win the whole thing (like the HBK rumble win in 95').

Main Show:

WWF Championship First Round Match
The Ultimate Warrior def. Hercules Hernandez.
Same as the match they had. Warrior goes over and goes on to the quarter finals of the tournament. Have it go like 4 minutes and have a good warm up to the crowd.

WWF Champio
nship First Round Match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship

The Honky Tonk Man (C) def. Brutus Beefcake
This is a concept I've seen online. Have Honky Tonk come out and demand a spot in the tournament when it's announced as a part of the "I am picking my opponents" shtick. Have Tunney agree only if he defends the IC title all the way through the tournament. So every Honky match is for the IC title. The match goes on for like 8 minutes until Honky Tonk cheats to retain here and continue his feud with Beefcake. He goes on to face The Ultimate Warrior in the Quarter Finals..you see where this is going.

WWF Championship First Round Match
Ted Dibiase def. Bret Hart.
Hart gives it all but after 6 minutes when it looks like Hart is going to upset Dibiase, Bad News Brown comes out allignes himself with Dibiase and attacking Hart (revenge for the free for all). Dibiase pins him and puts a $$ in Hart's mouth and we go on.

WWF Championship First Round Match
Jake Roberts def. Rick Rude via a Disqualification.
So the 2 will still have their Wrestle Mania altercation. I won't give them 15 minutes and a time limit draw because it's stupid. Instead I'll have Roberts almost winning only to have Heenan hits Roberts with a chair after about 10 minutes behind the ref's back allowing Rude to win. The ref. announces Rude as the winner, but then notices the chair in the ring. He reverses his decision announcing Roberts wins the match via a DQ and the 2 brawl out of the ring. Roberts is set to take on Dibiase in the quarter finals.

WWF Championship First Round Match
Randy Savage def. Ricky Steamboat
This is it. The Savage vs Steamboat rematch is announced ahead of time. Then they steal the show. The match goes on for about 16 minutes. Savage avenges his loss and wins clean, shake hands with Steamboat and the show continues.

WWF Championship First Round Match
Bam Bam Bigelow def. One Man Gang
This is a match that is just there. Bigelow squashes One Man Gang in about 3 minutes and builds into an interesting Quarter Final match against the Macho Man.

WWF Championship First Round Match
Andre The Giant def. Jim Duggan
Andre destroys Duggan here in like 5 minutes, we have him try to attack Dibiase after the match but Andre, Virgil and Brown beat him down cementing their dominance going forward.

WWF Championship First Round Match
Hulk Hogan def. Harley Race
Two legends and one of the main selling points for the event (along with Savage vs Steamboat). This was a dream match at the time. Have this go for like 10 minutes, until Hogan wins clean. He goes on to have the gigantic rematch against Andre in the next round....

WWF Championship Quarter Final Match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship
The Ultimate Warrior def. The Honky Tonk Man (C).
The match starts with Honky Tonk running out of the ring getting counted out. Then Jack Tunney returns and restart the match where if Honky Tonk is counted out or disqualified he will still lose the title to Warrior. Warrior then splashes him and wins in a minute (like they had at Summer Slam). A feel good moment for Warrior winning the IC title and going into the semi final against the winner of the Ted Dibiase vs Jake Roberts match.

WWF Championship Quarter Final Match
Ted Dibiase def. Jake Roberts.
A hard fought match. Dibiase wins this match clean with no shena....ns. You needed to give Dibiase some legitimate wins in this tournament. So after 7 minutes the match ends with a clean finish. Afterwards Dibiase puts the $$ in Roberts's mouth, and Rick Rude comes out attacks Roberts and takes Damien with him to continue the story between the two. Dibiase goes against a tough challenge at the semi finals in the shape of The Ultimate Warrior

WWF Championship Quarter Final Match
Randy Savage def. Bam Bam Bigelow.
Again a good fought match. Savage wins clean after 8 minutes. The two shake hands and Savage is going into the semi finals against the winner of Hogan vs Andre.

(He's in the semi-finals)

WWF Championship Quarter Final Match
Andre The Giant def. Hulk Hogan
Wait WHATTT!!! Yes I am going to have Hogan lose to Andre here. I am going to have Dibiase, Brown and Virgil interfere and distract Hogan seven minutes into the match allowing Andre to pin him here. After the match you have Andre and Dibiase celebrate (cause Hogan is out of the tournament) and go into the back. What they didn't see is that they left Virgil behind and Hogan is furious. He hits Virgil with a big boot and three leg drops and goes to the back angry.

Non Title WWF Championship Semi Final Match
Ted Dibiase def. WWF Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior.
So of course Warrior is not going to go all the way here but he is not going to lose clean either. Nine minutes into the match Bad News Brown distracts the referee allowing Dibiase to hit Warrior with two low blows and lock him in the Million Dollar Dream. Warrior faints to the hold and Dibiase wins but Warrior looks strong.

WWF Championship Semi Final Match
Randy Savage def. Andre The Giant via a count out.
Savage had a long night here with his matches against Steamboat and Bigelow already going 25 minutes. So after about six minutes I am going to have Andre try to hit Savage with a bodyslam, only to have Savage roll him up (shades of Savage vs Steamboat in WM3) to win the match. Savage is in the finals Dibiase.

Tag Team Match for the WWF Tag Team Championship
Demolition def. Strike Force (C)
The only match on the card not related to the tournament and a brake before the main event. Have this the same like in reality as this was a good WM moment.

Tournament Finals for the Vacant WWF Championship
Ted Dibiase def. Randy Savage
Yes I am going to ruin the iconic Savage moment. This should have been saved for Summer Slam. Here it should have been about Dibiase. The match goes on for about 14 minutes with interference from all the Dibiase Squad (Andre, Brown and Virgil). You have Dibiase win after Andre pushes Savage from the top rope when he attempts the Elbow Drop. Dibiase hits him with an Elbow Drop of his own for the win. As Dibiase is celebrating he orders his posse to attack Savage and when did you know Hogan comes out to save the day. Dibiase is quickly out of the ring and The Mega Powers go wild on Andre, Brown and Virgil. You have The Mega Powers embracing in the ring pointing at Dibiase, and the show ends with Dibiase on the ramp with the WWF title - smiling.
