7.Dino Bravo {w/Frenchy Martin} defeated Ronnie Gravin - 03:06.

12.Jim Duggan and Bad News Brown fought to a Double Disqualification - 03:49.
13.The Red Rooster defeated Bobby Heenan {w/The Brooklyn Brawler} - 00:31.
14.Hulk Hogan defeated Randy Savage {C} {w/Miss Elizabeth} to win the WWF Championship - 17:54.

I think that this was a decent show not a great WM but not a bad one either. You had a lot of Filler/Unimportant matches in this show and they were as follow:The Twin Towers vs The Rockers & Dino Bravo vs Ronnie Gravin & Jim Duggan vs Bad News Brown & The Red Rooster vs Bobby Heenan. In my opinion those matches were pointless {all except for the Twin towers vs the rockers} and they could have take that time for the IC title match.

{Rude vs Warrior}.

Now for the "real" matches on this card. You had King Haku a current Bobby Heenan guy facing his former talent Hercules in a nice opener with Hercules getting the win.You had Brutus Beefcake defeating Ted Dibiase in a decent match that should have been one of the last matches on the show. Then I want to take a look on the tag team division which was great in that time with some decent matches:The Bushwachers defeated The Fabulous Rougeaus ; The Brain Busters defeated Strike Force and The Hart Foundation defeated Honky Tonk man and Greg Valentine. Also you have had the 3 on 2 handicap match for the tag title belts where you had Demolition retaining against The Powers of Pain and Mr.Fuji.You had a good showcase for Mr.Perfect and his undefeated streak in the WWF at WM where he defeated The Blue Blazer {RIP Owen Hart} in a solid match for the time that it got. Also the mid card was very good at this mania in terms of talent:you had Beefcake vs Dibiase and also you had Jake Roberts defeating Andre The Giant via a DQ.

And then I would look to my two big matches of this show.
Rick Rude defeated The Ultimate Warrior in an upest victory to win the IC Title belt. This was a nice match and in the end Rude got a deserving title victory at the grandest stage of them all - he deserves this.Warrior will go on to get a push similar to the one Randy Savage got after he lost the IC Title belt at WM III which ended with him winning the WWF Title the year later which is the exact same thing Warrior did here only with the fact that leading to next year's Mania he regained the IC Title.

{Hogan vs Savage}

And finally for my match of the night and basically what is remember from this show the Main Event. It is the split of the Mega Powers in one side the WWF Champion Macho Man Randy Savage in the other side you have the Hulkster Hulk Hogan and in the middle you have Miss Elizabeth. This is indeed the first {argubally second if you cound the 2nd Andre vs Hogan match the year before} year in the making match at WM history. This was a good match not one of the greatest WM Main Events of all time but also not one of the worst. This feud was built great and it felt like something special with this match. Also we all know Savage is producing great matches of course this is not his best WM match where you compare it for his matches against Steamboat {WM III} & Warrior {WM VII} or Flair {WM VIII} but it was a good match. This ended in the right decision where Savage lost the title that he won a year before to Hogan ending the show on a happy notice.

As far as what I believed should have been the card I would have changed some things in it.So here it is:
1.Hercules defeated King Haku.
2.Jim Duggan defeated The Red Rooster.
3.The Powers of Pain defeated The Rockers.
4.The Bushwachers defeated The Fabulous Rougeaus
5.Jake Roberts defeated Bad News Brown via a Disqualification.
6.Demolition {C} defeated The Honky Tonk man and Greg Valentine to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship.
7.The Twin Towers defeated Strike Force.
8.Mr.Perfect defeated The Blue Blazer.
9.The Hart Foundation defeated The Brain Busters
10.Rick Martel defeated The Ultimate Warrior {C} to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
11.Andre The Giant defeated Ted Dibiase.
12.Brutus Beefcake defeated Dino Bravo
13.Hulk Hogan defeated Randy Savage {C} with Miss Elizabeth as the special guest referee to win the WWF Championship.

So this was WM V and I will see you next at the History Lesson for WM VI.
